Huatulco
Huatulco is a tropical gem with crystalline waters, coral reefs and uncrowded beaches. Inland, the rugged coast range is thickly carpeted with lush rain forests and verdant coffee plantations. Huatulco, still relatively young in its tourism trade, has a less developed feel from other destinations on the Mexican Riviera due to large areas of Huatulco being designated part of an ecological reserve. Bahia de Huatulco: Located at the southern tip of the Southern Sierra Madre Mountain range lies the largest ecological reserve designated by the Mexican government. La Crucesita: A more traditional Mexican town, La Crucesita was created to provide services to the development of the resort area. Tangolunda Bay : One of the principal bays, this more developed area of Bahias de Huatulco boasts five-star resorts and shopping centers.
